3 Simple Tips to Improve Your Running Form

Here are three simple things you can do to improve your running form.

  1. Maintain Tall/Proud Posture: Imagine a string pulling you up from the top of your head. By maintaining a tall/proud posture you will utilize more of your skeleton to support your body weight. Stand tall with a slight forward lean from your ankles not your waist.

  2. Land Midfoot: Aim to land with your foot under your body or under your centre of mass. A midfoot strike promotes efficient energy transfer.

  3. Relax Your Arms: Keep elbows bent at 90 degrees, swing arms forward and back from the shoulders and keep your hands relaxed.

These small adjustments can make a big difference in your running efficiency!
